I was a founding member of Microsoft Live Labs back in Feb 2006. I established the Product Management, Marketing, Branding and Business Development teams prior to leaving the company in September 2008.

Our flagship product was 'Photosynth' an amazing technology that built upon the 'Phototourism' work of Noah Snavely and Steve Seitz at the University of Washington and combined with technology from Rick Szeleski at MSR and our acquisition of Seadragon . Hailed by Slate as, "the best thing to happen to photography since the digital camera" and the subject of NPR's Talk of the Nation, we created something that frankly I think is pretty magical and unique.

We worked extensively with partners including Nasa, BBC and CSI:NYC, as well as on an upcoming movie that I can't discuss quite yet...

Photosynth really hit the mainstream in Jan 2009 when it was used by CNN to uniquely capture the moment President Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America. You can see 'The Moment' below. It has been hailed by Slate and NPR as a technolgy that
